Are you dependent on salary as your economic mainstay? The emergence of the novel Covid-19 pandemic have plunged most salary earners into a deplorable quagmire. It is no doubt an eye opener to all salary hopefuls. Just without April salary alone most salary earners especially employees in the private sector, for instance, teachers in private schools are already vulnerable, struggling for survival. Suddenly, they become SOS candidates. Thus, Covid-19 saga is just a tip of the iceberg. It portends more learning points than being regarded a mere plague.

Majority of salary earners live their life as if tomorrow does not exist. Their salary is not always sufficient to fend for their needs and as a result, they are unable to fulfill their destinies and arrive their designated locations in life. They continue to receive peanuts and adjust until they get retired. God forbid!

Truly! We are elated when we receive something, be it reward for labour or free gift. It is an inherent trait of human; we love to get and hate to give. But we must put things right lest we misplace our priority. It is absolutely wrong for you to sideline those great dreams that has been ingrained into your minds since childhood: I mean your God - ordained ambition.

Dear salary earner! Do not wait until after retirement to realize that there is urgent need to establish a very viable business that will keep you out of financial mess. You are a unique island of abundant nature but you must refuse to be spoiled by ocean of waste disguised as salary. Start your journey to financial freedom now that you still have energy to undergo it. Do not tread your active years for a Greek gift called salary. Remember that "it is too late for digging well when the house is on fire".

We all need to adjust with situations, but we need to be certain when we need to adjust and when we need to take the bold step. There are times when we need to face the reality and take appropriate actions. The best time to venture into a viable business enterprise is when you are young, full of energy and vigor.

You have committed no crime by taking up a salaried job but it must be purpose driven: to save or accumulate capital to venture into a sustainable lifelong enterprise to create wealth, enhance your standard of living and contribute meaningfully to economic growth. Salary only tends to massage poverty, it does not cure it! Salary is the roadmap to lifelong poverty, hunger and depression. Conversely, viable business enterprise is a leeway to total economic emancipation and fulfilled purpose in life. 

Dear salary earner! You cannot pursue you ambition in another man's vision. Just grab the experience or expertise you need there to soar and then, quit slavery, servitude and mediocrity for life. Avail God the opportunity to enlarge your coast by creating the space needed for your expansion (breakthrough and prosperity). Expansion does not occur in a confined space.

Only fools tread where Angels fears to tread. A word is enough for the wise.
